An Omaha business was destroyed by fire Sunday morning. No one was hurt.
Crews called out to Discount Laundry off 38th and Leavenworth just before 8 a.m. found flames and smoke coming from the building. They had the fire contained in about 15 minutes.
The loss of the laundry equipment alone is estimated to total $20,000.
Owner Todd Santoro says he will rebuild. "We've already had the builder come out, the contractor. We've already had the insurance folks coming out. We're going to order equipment this week and get back open as quick as we possibly can."
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Santoro doesn't believe the dryers ignited the blaze.
