Collectors in town this weekend for the Omaha Stamp Show showed off their collections, some worth millions of dollars.
The show at Metro Community College brought in rare and old stamps from all eras. Some, like a sheet of Abraham Lincoln stamps are worth more than $50,000.
Collectors were able to get their stamps’ value assessed. "Many collectors wait their entire lives for another collector to die or to get old and sell his material so it will finally go up for auction and they can bid on it,” said collector Michael Milam from Denver.
