Two men from Atlanta played a round of golf in Omaha on Saturday, not counting strokes, but lives saved.
Bill Evans and Craig Forney are playing 50 rounds of golf over 50 days in all 50 states with cancer patients and survivors to raise awareness for melanoma, breast and prostate cancer.
The duo says playing with cancer survivors really puts life into perspective.
“Having a chance to play with Jay Davis who is battling cancer right now, here is a guy who is just loving to be out here,” says Forney. “It makes you think if you make an eight or a nine on a golf hole, you know what, he is just happy to be here, we should be, too."
After the round at 120th and Hamilton, their next stop is Kansas City. They'll finish the tour at the end of July in Hawaii.
