Storms are weakening and struggling to push southward. The strongest storms remained focused well north of the metro towards West Point.
The chance for rain and perhaps a storm will linger through at least 1 a.m. though a gradual weakening trend is expected across the metro.
Flash flooding is the biggest weather issue that's occurring across Burt and Monona counties where over 3 inches of rain has fallen. The rainfall is good news for the ongoing moderate drought situation though.
There's just a slight chance for showers and storms on Monday, otherwise a dry stretch of weather is anticipated.
