Another Round of Storms Possible

Some sunshine and calmer weather has returned at least temporarily across the Heartland; however, a cold front situated to our north and west will continue to give us a chance for more showers and scattered storms later Tuesday afternoon.

Some computer models are hinting at showers and storms developing near the metro after 4 p.m. There's a 30% chance for this activity. Be prepared for rain if you are planning on attending the CWS game at 7 p.m. just in case it does.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed the Omaha metro area in a slight risk zone for severe weather, with the greatest concerns being wind and hail. Locally heavy rain is also possible.

Keep checking back in for additional updates from The Weather Authority.
