According to police reports, Zachary D. Nielsen was driving a 1991 Ford F-150 southbound on 60th St just north of L St around two in the morning.
Officers noticed Nielsen make a left turn without signaling. He was stopped near 59th and J St.
Officers reported a strong odor of alcohol on Nielsen's breath, slurred speech and watery, bloodshot eyes.
Nielsen tested out nearly three times the legal limit with a blood alcohol content of .218. He was booked in to the Douglas County Corrections Center for 3rd Offense DUI, driving under a suspended license and failure to signal a turn.
A records check shows Nielsen's license was suspended in July, 2009 after he failed to complete a driving course.
He was also convicted of DUI charges in March, 2008 and April, 2008.
