A flood warning is in effect for Otoe and Cass counties in southeast Nebraska and Fremont County in southwest Iowa until 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

Flooding should continue in the area from about 10 miles south of Plattsmouth downstream to Nebraska City. The stage at Nebraska City is expected to fall below flood stage by early Monday morning.

A flood warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported. Stream rises will be slow and flash flooding is not expected. However, all interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
