The storm system that brought heavy snow to the area Sunday continues to exit east leaving cloudy and cold conditions.
Snow totals ranged from 6"-9" across the entire metro with Eppley Airfield officially receiving 8.8" from this storm.
Heavier totals in the 9"-11" range were reported across parts of Burt, Dodge & Saunders counties. Fremont had multiple reports near 11" of accumulation.
Northwest winds at 10-20 mph will still lead to minor blowing and drifting of snow through the day Monday. Skies will remain mostly cloudy as temperatures struggle to climb out of the 20s. Don't expect melting today but the rest of the week appears to give us plenty of opportunities to speed up the melting process.
