The sex abuse trial of James Bentley is scheduled for July 28 in Osceola.

The Vinton man is accused in Benton and Linn counties of molesting Jetseta Gage in 2004.

The Cedar Rapids girl was 10 when she was kidnapped and killed by Bentley's brother, Roger Bentley, in 2005.

According to an order filed Wednesday, James Bentley's case in Benton County has been moved to Clarke County because of pretrial publicity. The Linn County case will follow, but a trial date has not been set.

Bentley is currently serving 100 years in federal prison for taking sexually explicit photos of Gage and another child.

The state's case has been delayed by a court fight over a videotape interview of Gage. The trials are proceeding without the videotape.
