An 18-year-old man has been arrested, accused of stealing more than 1,000 gift cards from a Lincoln church.
Dalton Walker was arrested Friday.
The cards are worth more than $23,000 and were intended for sale in a fundraising drive to offset tuition for students at Messiah Lutheran School.
The church told police that someone broke a church window between 4:40 p.m. March 30 and 9 a.m. April 1 and stole the cards.
Police say Walker and two other people were seen using some of the gift cards later at a store.
Walker has left Lancaster County custody. A man who answered the phone Tuesday at Walker's home in Lincoln said Walker wasn't there.
Online court records don't yet list the case.
