Some fans are feeling shortchanged after rap artist Lil Boosie failed to show up for his Omaha concert Friday night. They're wondering about refunds and even if their tickets are legit.

"It was like one cop against a mob of people," says Brittni Case, who watched from the balcony of Sokol Auditorium when concert-goers heard the headlining act was a no-show.

"He was like, I swear to God, I'm not a liar, but the jet wasn't in on time. He's still in Chicago. That's when people started throwing beer bottles, the cups of ice. They were throwing stiletto shoes. They were throwing microphones, brushes."

When the crowd heard Lil Boosie, born Torrance Hatch, wasn't coming, Case says they rushed the stage and then went after people selling tickets, demanding their money back.

“I think everybody had their right to be mad, but it just got out of control. In the beginning it was just fine and then it just went out of control in the end."

After the crowd rushed the stage, they moved outside where police closed off the intersection of 13th and Martha. Two people were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Case called Ticketmaster Saturday about a refund, but found out there was something wrong with her ticket. It looks real, but it feels thinner and it's not printed on the usual kind of paper.

"We can't get our money back,” says Case. “I called Ticketmaster, they said it's a duplicate of their ticket 'cause I read everything that's said on the ticket and I was like, okay, what can you do? But they're like we can try to get our money back, but the management said he was supposed to be here two weeks ago and those tickets are two weeks old."

Channel 6 News was unable to contact the concert's promoter or any officials at Ticketmaster. It's still unclear if anyone will get a refund and who is making a profit from the non-concert.

Tyrone- They are called pepperball guns and we have had them for probably 5 years now. They can be compared to a paint ball gun except the capsules are filled with a powder form of pepper spray. It's pretty effective for clearing a crowd as you witnessed. It is considered a use of force and when officers deploy it they have to do reports and it is investigated to see if it was used properly. Just another tool officers can use without having to get in the middle of a brawl with a rowdy crowd.

In regards to "Petey P" statement. I don’t understand if you know you have a show Friday night why not fly out Thursday morning and stay? Why try to catch a plan Friday evening or afternoon I mean it is a plan come on now did you all not think about delays and bad weather or problems. I mean yes don't get me wrong the flight from Chicago to Omaha is only like 45 minuets but still I think that next time Trill Ent should ask for people to be here the day before the concert to prevent stuff like this from happening and when is Lil' Boosie and Trill Ent going to give out refunds?

Come on... tearing up the place is going to help you get your money back???? This is ridiculous, but comes as no suprise to me! So he shows up, the crowd drinks more, and all is well???? I THINK NOT! Heck he probably saved a life or two that night by NOT showing up! A gathering of hundreds of "gang" mentality folks is hardly the place I'd pay to be at. I like listening to rap but I think I'll stick with my ipod, it won't try to kill me!

I can not believe that there were six hundred people that actually paid money two weeks in advance to see this show. What kind of so called big time artist leaves for his concert a few hours before he is suppose to perform? The man has no respect for himself, or this city, so this should be a lesson to young folks, don't waste your moms hard earned money on some flakey rapper named Lil Boosie. And don't listen to that other post on here about calling the airline or hotel, because that is a privacy issue, and they will not give you any information. Tells you something when this rapper has to have someone post on wowtv web site for PR.

It is crazy to me that people would start a small riot, and risk injury to innocent people, and a police officer over this minor mishap. So many people complain the police don't answer fast enough to calls, or why do we have to pay so much for our police protection. It's because of this kind of behavior, that our fine police officers have to put themselves at risk, shut down streets that neighbors have to use, all for a man named Lil Boosie. What in the world is this town coming to?

this is why we cannot have things in the O because we dont know how to act. true this may or maynot been a scam but hurting people will not give you your money back and will definately not help us getting big events here more rappers/ r/b artists etc to come here lets make the O a name but a good name so we can have more fun stuff here and better concerts

A RIOT? Cmon...this writer is stretching it far. Better take a look at the definition of RIOT i.e. Riots are a form of civil disorders characterized by disorganized groups lashing out in a sudden and intense rash of violence, vandalism or other crime. While individuals may attempt to lead or control a riot, riots are typically chaotic and exhibit herd behavior. Two arrests out of nearly 600 attendees hardly comes even close to a riot. How about focusing on the scam of selling two week old tickets?

This has nothing to do with the way the music is sung or how it sounds... Everyone has their likes and dislikes!!!! The problem is the artist... NOT THE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!

The promoter and his possee ripped everyone off! They knew all night that Lil Bossie wasnt coming. Crowd was full of bangers and thugs. Good thing the cops were searching everyone, hate to think what would have happened if they didnt! Where did the police get those mace guns from, that was the only thing that cleared the crowd. The promoter got his money from the ticket sales and should have to refund everyones money out of his pocket. Whats right is right. This will tell if he is a legimate promoter or just a scammer! PEACE

Take a hint!, Sokol fans & crowd before it is too late. You stand to become known as losers! You are slowly but surely being led down a path of self-destruction by compromised music to what is known in life as HELL. Rap & what you call music is not what you THINK! it is. They are subtle ways of influencing you to conform to a culturally backward way of thinking & living. In other words- It's trash talk with a message, Sometimes. Since there is trash in it, it's hard to call it a mixed blessing. Yes, if you understand them well enough, so-called rap & the music there is actually garbage in disquise. Rap may hold some truths but it is designed to pound you to submission. It slyly kind of puts you to sleep by interjecting words to capture your attention but does not exactly fully enlighten you like it would if sung(did I say sung like in a song?)otherwise. Half-truths result. Thus, it breaks you down because it is broken. The monotone rhythm is a subtle bombastic way of hating you. SAD :(
