Two 16-year-olds were arrested Sunday after being tracked by the Omaha police helicopter, Able-1.
Officers were called to the area of 23rd and B Street, around 7 p.m. Sunday, to investigate "graffiti in progress." The police helicopter was in the area and spotted the suspects.
When officers on the ground caught up to them, they arrested both teens. One was booked for three counts of felony graffiti application. The other was arrested for ten counts of misdemeanor graffiti application.
Police believe the suspects are responsible for at least 11 incidents involving graffiti in the area. They are still looking into whether other cases may be tied to the teens.
