A storm system across the Central Plains triggered a complex of storms to develop across Kansas Saturday night and this activity tracked across southeast Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri.
Widespread severe weather is not likely with this activity, though a few strong storms are possible and may contain gusty winds and small hail.
The metro will only experience a glancing blow with a 60 percent chance of showers and storms through 3 a.m. Sunday. Most of the action will occur south of I-80.
OPPD reports more than 300 customers lost power during Saturday morning's storm.
