Strong Storms Hit Metro Overnight
A line of strong storms hit the metro overnight bringing heavy rain, lightning, and hail.
Around one o'clock the rain started to fall and the sky lit up with lightning.
There were various reports of pea-sized hail around the metro but no reports of any real damage.
Light rain is expected to move out of the area later this morning.
