The person responsible for a fatal hit-and-run accident in Lincoln turned herself in to police on Saturday.
Twenty-five-year-old Kinley Queen showed up at the Lincoln Police Department around 3:30 a.m., saying she was the driver who struck a homeless man on Thursday night.
The crash happened at Antelope Valley Parkway and Saunders Avenue. Police say 50-year-old William Springer died when Queen struck him with her van. Police located the van on Friday, thanks to a tip.
Queen now faces charges of leaving the scene of an injury accident, which is a felony.
