Update: Six Apartments Damaged In Fire
Firefighters from several departments were called to an apartment fire at Orlean Square apartments near 84th and L Streets Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters from several departments were called to an apartment fire at Orlean Square apartments near 84th and L Streets Tuesday afternoon.
Ralston Fire chief, Kyle Ienn confirms that the fire started in a car that was parked inside an apartment garage; it quickly spread to the apartment building. A second alarm was called when the fire spread to the apartment building. Crews say the wind played a role in the spread.
Eleven garages were destroyed, 5 vehicles and 6 apartment units sustained water or smoke damage. The Red Cross says 20 tenants are displaced tonight as the building need to be inspected.
No other injuries have been reported.
