12-Year-Old Driver Dies Of Accident Injuries
A 12-year-old boy died Thursday from injuries suffered in the crash of a pickup he was driving on a rural road east of Exira, Iowa.
The Audubon County Sheriff's Department says Austin Vais of Exira wasn't wearing a seat belt when the truck went out of control, slid sideways and rolled, ejecting Vais around 4:30 p.m.
He was taken to Audubon County Memorial Hospital in Audubon where he died.
