The Save Rosenblatt committee has unveiled a plan aimed at keeping the College World Series and the stadium where it's been played for decades.
Save Rosenblatt has been very vocal about keeping the CWS and keeping it where it's been for most of the series history.
Omaha Mayor Mike Fahey favors replacing Rosenblatt with a new, downtown ballpark and a committee has been formed to further examine the options. They have identified eight options and the Save Rosenblatt group has now presented a ninth.
The Save Rosenblatt alternative calls for sweeping changes at the old stadium. The proposal would cost an estimated $60 million to $65 million. It's a mix of rebuilding and renovation at Rosenblatt.
