Dirty Dancing Leads To New Rules At Nebraska School

Officials at a Lincoln high school say that if teenagers want to dance dirty, they can't do so at the homecoming or other school-sponsored dances.

A new policy at Southwest High School restricts the dances to Southwest students, except for the prom.

Administrators have been struggling with maintaining decorum at the dances, where grinding and other sexually loaded moves were

Southwest principal Rob Slauson told the Lincoln Journal Star that chaperones would tell the dirty dancers to clean it up, but some didn't pay any attention.

Slauson says reprimanding someone who doesn't attend Southwest compounds the problem for chaperones and administrators. Hence the
new policy.
