The water rescue team of the Plattsmouth Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the Missouri River at 1pm on Labor Day.
The Cassgram the motor fell off a 15-foot Jon boat and the boat was drifting with the current southward in the vicinity of Tobacco Island south of Plattsmouth.
Trevor One rescue boat was launched and the crew successfully helped the male operator and his boat out of the river.
