Should the Huskers play UNO in football, just a question we asked
several husker football fans before the big game with Western Kentucky.Every year the Huskers play teams like Western Kentucky, the Hilltoppers didn't win a game last season, also on this years Husker schedule is South Dakota State. You remember the Jackrabbits they were once in the North Central Conference with UNO.
"I think down the road its a possibility says Husker fan Joel Mosser, "but right now i think you're talking two different caliber programs".
Mike Loeffer thinks it would be an interesting game.
When you think about the hundreds of thousands of dollars the Huskers pay out to weak football programs who come into Lincoln take a beating and take home a big paycheck..Think about UNO and how the Mavericks could use that money, all that cash could stay right here in Nebraska. Husker Heaven owner Kathy McMichael says, " a lot of us are huge Husker fans but we went to UNO financially its a win win for UNO. All of this just something to talk about before the game.
