No Homework For Papillion Sixth Graders
Instead, reading is encouraged Sixth grade students at Carriage Hill Elementary School are not required to do traditional homework. The students are assigned to read for 25 minutes each night instead.

Sixth grade students at Carriage Hill Elementary School are not required to do traditional homework.
Instead, the students are encouraged to read for 25 minutes instead. Teachers want the students to focus on reading and improved reading will help the students understand other subjects.
The students do get to pick out some of their own reading material, which teachers say keeps them intrested in reading,
