Bank Robber Hits Too Close To Home

A would-be bank robber hit a little too close to home.

Joel Ludacka of Mead, Nebraska has been arrested for allegedly attempting to rob the bank of Mead. Saunders County Sheriff Kevin Stukenholz said bank employees recognized Ludacka who was not wearing a mask.

The suspect left the bank without getting a dime. The sheriff said Ludacka was not armed in the bank but a weapon was found at the time of the arrest.

Nobody was hurt and Ludacka did not resist the Sheriff and his deputies.

The attempted robbery occurred about 3pm Thursday,
