AMC Theatres has announced plans to bring full-length IMAX movies to its Omaha location. Moviegoers can truly see movies on the big screen beginning September 3 at AMC Oakview Plaza 24.
Currently, moviegoers in the metro have two options to see full-length movies at AMC’s Star Council Bluffs 17. The Henry Doorly Zoo also shows IMAX movies, but most of those are shorter nature-related films.
AMC says Hollywood is planning the release of several IMAX movies the rest of this year. They include the August 27th release of “Avatar”, the September 10th release of “Resident Evil”, the September 24th release of “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of GA’Hoole”.
