Suspect Booked For Bingo Hall Burglary

An Omaha man is being charged for burglary and resisting arrest.

Police were called to the Catholic Sokol Bingo Hall near S 13th Street and Spring Lake Drive to investigate a burglary in progress.

When they arrived they found 26-year-old Cosme Contreres.

Officers had to use a taser to take Contreres into custody, reporting he was acting out of control.

After being cleared at a hospital, Contreres was booked for burglary and resisting arrest.
