Math Comes To Life At Strategic Air & Space Museum

Admission: FREE for members, $12 adults, $6 students

We've all asked this question at one time or another -- "Will I ever use all this math?" A new, interactive exhibit is now open in Omaha and allows students, of all ages, to explore the fun side of math.

WOWT is proud to sponsor the MathAlive! exhibit September 21 through January 5, 2014 at the Strategic Air and Space Museum. The exhibit is designed to let students see how math impacts their daily lives, in everything from fashion and sports to music and sports.

Among the nearly 40 unique, hands on activities, visitors can capture a 360-degree image in a dance party or try their hand at using a NASA robot. Museum officials said there are also extra opportunities for teacher workshops or overnight visits.

In addition to the exhibit, the WOWT Weather Authority Team will be presenting the Wicked Weather Road Show in the museum's auditorium. Mark your calendar now to attend one of the discussions:
