Need to find a summer camp for your children? What about a family-friendly activity that won't break your budget? All of that and more can be found on a brand new website created by Omaha resident Julie Schmitz.
As a family with two small children, Schmitz told Channel 6 News she is always looking for fun things to do. Earlier this year, she began FamilyFunInOmaha.com to help other families easily find all of the activities and events going on in the metro area.
Schmitz said, "It seems that almost every weekend, there is a unique event going on, many of which are free. Especially during the summer, there are so many free things to do with your kids including concerts, movies, spraygrounds, reading programs, and special events."
The website features an Omaha Kids Calendar, plus interactive pages of Free Summer Activities in Omaha, Kids Eat Free, and Things to Do in Omaha with Kids.
