Channel 6 For The Heartland invites you to one of Omaha’s premier summer events!
The Omaha Summer Arts Festival celebrates its 35th year June 26th through the 28th in downtown Omaha on Farnam Street between 10th and 15th. The Festival is Omaha’s leading destination for art, entertainment, food and atmosphere.
Shop for paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery and more from 135 of the nation’s finest artists on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Artists’ Market.
Enjoy music from around the world at the World Music Pavilion’s Luigi Waites Main Stage on Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.. This year’s lineup features Eric Lindell, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Los de Abajo, Lubriphonic and Chubbier Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band.
Let the kids show their creative side at the Children’s Fair on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hands-on activities and live performances on the Family Entertainment Stage are sure to keep the youngest members of your family entertained for hours!
