If you're a fan of figure skating but weren't able to get a ticket for the U.S. Championships going on at CenturyLink Center Omaha this week, FanFest opened Wednesday and continues through Sunday.
Admission is free and open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. “It's exciting because it's my first time ever being here for the U.S. Figure Skating,” said 10-year-old Alyson Diaz with the Blade and Edge Figure Skating Club of Omaha.
Heather Egbert is the mother of another 10-year-old figure skater, Audrey. "We've been down here as much as we can this week and it's just a really special and exciting time for Omaha and the skating club. This is a fun way to get the kids involved in it, too."
Along with watching the skaters, you can get autographs, load up on figure skating gear or play skating games.
