A recent government report shows workers with lower income and lower education are less likely to have access to paid leave.

According to the Labor Department, nearly three quarters of employees with a bachelor's degree get paid time off, while only 35 percent of workers with only a high school diploma get the benefit.

Eighty three percent of workers earning more than 60,000 dollars a year get paid while on vacation and when they're out sick.

Only 50 percent of those earning less than 30,000 dollars a year get the benefit.
