U.S. Postal Service May Charge You
The U.S. Postal Service struggles to boost its revenue, your mailbox could be its moneymaker.
A service called "Every Door Direct Mail" allows small businesses to send fliers, coupons, menus, and other advertising for just 14 1/2 cents per mailing.
The unaddressed mail goes to everyone on the carrier's route...meaning more mail in your mailbox.
If you don't want such mail, the postal service says you should contact the business sending the mail, and asked to be placed on its "Do Not Mail" list.
