A NEW NATIONAL SURVEY SHOWS THAT ALMOST HALF OF Americans are not taking all of their vacation time.
The survey shows that while Americans have an average of 18 vacation days a year...48% chose note to take half or more of their vacation time in 2011.
Among the reasons provided by the respondents were workload and a reluctance to play catch-up.
However, 1 in 4 said they would give up 5% of their salary to get 5 more vacation days.
The survey was commissioned by the Radisson Hotel Chain and was conducted by Kelton Research.
