Paperless tickets prompt an anti-trust complaint against Ticketmaster.
"The American Antitrust Instititue" is calling on the Federal Trade Commission, State Attorneys General, and consumer protection agencies to investigate "Paperless ticketing."
The AAI complaint targets what the group calls "Stringent limitations" on transferring the tickets, which it says can only be resold through a Ticketmaster website.
Ticketmaster referred NBC to "Fans First Coalition," which says paperless tickets are an effective way to protect fans from scalpers.
