A new report lists the states with the highest beer consumption.
The Washington, D.C. based Beer Institute finds that residents in New Hampshire consumer more beer per capita than any other state, followed by North Dakota, Montana, South Dakota, and Nevada.
The state with the least amount is Utah, which is home to a large non-drinking Mormon population.
In Illinois, consumption fell by three six packs per person from 2007 to 2011, causing the state to
fall from its spot as the state with the fifth most beer shipments.
Overall, the institute found that per-capita consumption fell from about 56 six packs five years ago to roughly 53 six packs per person in 2011.
