The Kindle Fire is sold out.

Amazon launched the tablet, at a hundred and 99 bucks, in November.

It was designed to compete with the iPad...coming with a color screen and the ability to run outside applications.

Executives won't say how many fires have sold...but estimates are around five million.

Amazon is "expected" to unveil a new "fire" at a press conference next week.
