The Red Cross releases a free "wildfire" app.
It contains warnings for potential wildfires, alerts when a fire's started, and tracks a fire's path.
There's also a one-touch "I'm Safe" message to contact friends and family, and locations of Red Cross shelters.
The app comes in English and Spanish, and is available on both iPhone and Android platforms.
Just search "American Red Cross" in the Apple or Google play stories.
