Parents Waiting Out Sales

Back-To-School shopping is on hold...as teens wait for trends and parents wait for sales.

Students and parents are playing a waiting game, according to the New York Times.

Teens are waiting to see what trends play out, making sure they're on the fashion mark and not "so yesterday."

While parents are waiting to see how low retailers will go.

That's not a great trend for the economy. Back-to-school shopping is the 2nd largest sales period for retailers, right behind the winter holidays.
