Half of all American adults now own a tablet or smartphone, and many of those consumers are also getting their news on those devices.
A third of mobile device users watch news stories and video clips, at least once a week...that's according to the Pew Research Center.
Pew says though news viewing habits are changing, mobile viewing doesn't necessarily mean people are cutting back from getting their news from traditional sources.
