Is there a man in his prime...in your home...and not working? He's not alone.
Nearly two in ten American men in the prime of their life are not working.
That's according to the most recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Nearly 83% of men ages 25 to 54 were working in February.
That sounds like a lot, but it's significantly lower than five years ago when about 88% of men in their prime were working.
Back in the 1940's through 1970's, more than 90% of men in that age group were usually employed.
