New Car...No Way! This One Still Runs....

If you feel like you're driving an old car...you're not alone.

The cars on America's roads have hit a record old age of eleven years.

According to Experian Automotive, eleven years was the average age of the 245 million vehicles registered
in the Untied States in the first quarter of this year.

There are two reasons for the age.

One is that many drivers have put off buying new or trading-in due to the sluggish economic recovery.

The other is that cars and trucks are built to last longer...so Americans are choosing to keep them longer.
