Income Up...Spending Drops
Household income was up slightly last month, but consumers didn't spend a lot of the money.
The Commerce Department reports incomes rose 0.4% in March and spending rose 0.3%.
Some analysts say the moderate spending increase suggests that higher gas prices are taking a toll on consumers.
