It's official...tax filing season has begun.
If you plan to e-file, go ahead...the Internal Revenue Service is now accepting electronically filed returns.
According to the IRS, a record 100 million taxpayers filed their taxes electronically last year.
If you are e-filing, remember you still need to gather hardcopies of documents to back up your returns.
For most people, those W-2 and 1099 forms that report wages and income should be arriving in the mail any day now.
This year, taxes are due April 17th.
