So how can you get the best seats?
The Smart Money folks suggest reviewing seat ratings, on sites like "Seatguru.com."
Also, sit up front, or at least avoid the very back. Seats get more narrow closer to the tail.
And keep trying to pick a prime seat, checking even 48 hours before departure.
