As more traditional banks raising checking account fees, those prepaid debit cards are growing in popularity.
But in a new couponscabin.com survey, 58% of U.S. adults said they are not aware of fees connected to prepaid debit cards...such as activation fees, fees to get cash, or fees to get a paper statement.
The survey also found 44% of U.S. adults have a negative opinion of the cards.
