A new report shows U.S. Airlines brought in more revenue last year from baggage fees and other services than any of the world's other airline carriers.
The reports released today by Ideaworks shows United, Delta, and American Airlines finished in the top three, generating billions of dollars in revenue-outside airfares.
United raked in the most-at 5.2 billion dollars.
Delta was number two with 2.5 billion dollars-followed by American Airlines.
Completing the top ten are Australia's Qantas Airways, Southwest, Britain's EasyJet, Ireland's Ryanair, US Airways, Brazil's Tam and Alaska Airlines.
The report analyzed financial filings of 50 airlines worldwide. Combined they brought in 22.6 billion dollars just from fees and other products and services.
