Con men convinced an elderly Omaha man that he won millions but he had to send them money to win big. Once the scam artists had his phone number they won't stop calling until her answers.
His son spent several days at the home of his 85 year-old father to record the con men's relentless verbal assault. One day before 8am the victim received 104 missed calls. All from Jamaica numbers.
The con artists convinced the elderly man to send them two $750 Smart phones,a thousand dollars worth of jewelry and several $500 money cards.
Fact Finders asked the victim why and he said "I don't know."
The family attorney Richard Berkshire said, "I've taken his phone and we will stop his access to cash."
The victim's son named Russ said his father knows he's being scammed but one of the callers is so convincing his father thinks its legit.
Family members and the attorney can only guess the man has lost $15,000 or more in the lottery scam.
