A principal in southeast Nebraska spent part of Wednesday on the school's roof to reward students for their good test scores.
Tri-County Elementary School principal Jesse Gronemeyer spent several hours on the roof of the DeWitt school to reward sixth-graders for scoring the highest of grades 3 through 6 on the Nebraska State Accountability tests.
Gronemeyer said students worked hard and he wanted to do something unusual for them. He has a history of unusual stunts, including dressing up as a woman and trying to tape himself to a wall.
Gronemeyer said he forgot his sunscreen and feared he'd "look like a tomato" by Thursday.
