The Nebraska Science Festival will return in 2014 with plans to expand to Lincoln.
The second annual event, scheduled for April 24th-27th, will feature a variety of science and technology-related activities. The science expo is free to school groups at the Durham Museum in Omaha and the Strategic Air and Space Museum near Ashland.
Teachers may register online starting October 9th to bring their elementary-age students (ideally third through fifth-graders).
The expo at the Durham Museum will be open to the public on April 26th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Presented by the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the Nebraska Science Festival is a growing collaboration interested in the advancement of science literacy. The Science Festival is designed to make science accessible, interactive, relevant and fun for kids and adults alike.
