It costs just 9 galactic credits to get into "Star Wars Night" on SATURDAY (Jan. 11) at the Omaha Children's Museum, 500 S. 20th St. But guess what? We have two Family Passes that we're giving away! (More on that later.)
In case you've been away in the Dagobah System completing your training for the past few weeks, here's the scoop: Planet OCM is hosting a "Star Wars Night" from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Darth Vader will be there. And so will the Omaha branch of the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers. You? You and your kids can dress as your favorite Star Wars characters and join the fun.
The Children's Museum will be screening Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, which was originally released as Star Wars in 1977. That's right – the first one. The original. Perfect.
You can catch a scene or two of the film, roam the museum and participate in the Star Wars science shows and other themed activities, enjoy the museum's current exhibits, shake hands with Darth and his troopers and partake in more far-away galaxy doings. You should go. It is your destiny.
Admission is $9. But as I mentioned, if you want to enter to win one of two Family Passes (for 4 people each), click on the link at right.
