Kids and their adult keepers are invited to use recycled materials and real tools to explore and create at the Omaha Children's Museum's new exhibit, “Maker-Space,” which opened last weekend.

The special feature at the museum, 500 S. 20th St., features touch screen video tutorials that provide guided demonstrations for guests, allowing them to create while exploring different equipment – from sewing machines, 3D printers, drill presses to every day tools. Admission is $9, and free for those under 2 years.
